Echoes of Time
I·09 · Dimension of Time · Live · step into the time machine
A time machine. Backwards and forwards — without limits of time and space.
Set a year and the machine takes you where your ancestors lived — or where your great-grandchildren will live. In Echoes of Time you can already talk to Zofia of Kurozwęki, a lady-in-waiting at Wawel castle, A.D. 1410.
Problem
History from a textbook is dates. And dates are forgotten — we remember people, voices, smells and what they felt. That is why the past feels foreign to young people instead of being an experience.
FTI
Echoes of Time reconstruct a moment from the state of the world: what the character knows, feels and hears outside the window on the same day — exactly that many years ago. The character speaks, answers questions and remembers the conversation. Every reconstruction is based on sources and clearly marked as plausible, not real.
